Core Soccer Goalkeeping Academy

We have plenty of GK programs this summer with Chris Sharpe, Andrew Current, Brent McKim and Philip Jackson, alongside AcademyGK-USA staff, we’ve made sure these will be the best goalkeeping camps in the state this summer! Spring Pre-Tryouts

Core Soccer is offering a week long pre-tryout camp. The camp caters for any player that is going to take part in a tryout process for any competitive club. The dates for the camp are May 17-21. Topics that will be covered in the camp include:

Phase One - Beginning first two levels of Core skill curriculum which include: fast feet mastery, first touch when receiving the ball and individual skill to beat opponents, repetition training to build players confidence and repetition of drills that explore a variety of technical demands.


Phase Two - Advanced training level four through six of Core skill curriculum, first class ball composure, first touch brilliance, small group tactics, learning correct techniques of defending, delaying, pressuring, tackling, defending in groups of two to four, passing combinations and passing systems, attacking movement in front of goal, shooting, small sided games that concentrates on tactics and formations, strategic teaching of 3v3 - 4v4 - 5v5 - 6v6 - 8v8 - 9v9 - 11v11.

New Camps for Spring 2010

U5, U6 & U7 Academy - This camp covers the first level of the Core curriculum. Some of the topics covered include dribbling, passing, receiving, turning and shooting. This camp covers the fundamentals of the game while having fun with the kids.
Sundays 4-7pm - March 7th, 14th, 28th / April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th / May 2nd
U8 - U9 Academy - The camp incorporates the first two levels of the Core skill curriculum. Topics covered include: fast feet mastery, ball composure and individual skill to beat opponents and repetition training to build players confidence.
Sundays 4-7pm - March 7th, 14th, 28th / April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th / May 2nd
U10 Academy - This camp covers levels four through six of Core skill curriculum. Some of the topics covered include: ball composure, first touch, small group tactics, learning correct techniques of defending, passing combinations and passing systems, attacking movement in front of goal, shooting and small sided games that concentrate on tactics and formations.
Mondays 4-7pm - March 1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th / April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
