2010 Spring/Summer Goalkeeping Programs
We have plenty of GK programs this summer with Chris Sharpe, Andrew Current, Brent McKim and Philip Jackson, alongside AcademyGK-USA staff, we’ve made sure these will be the best goalkeeping camps in the state this summer! As a special offer, if you sign up for 15 sessions before May 15, you’ll receive a free pair of UHLSport GK Gloves - plus every GK camp member will receive a Camp TShirt and Water Bottle.

2010 Spring Programs
U10 Spring Academy: This is a Spring Academy that is designed to tune and develop the player’s ability to progress to the next level of play. This academy will work on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and receiving, turns, skill moves and shooting; at an intense level to get the best out of each player. As the camp progresses it will also allow the players to play small sided games and start to learn what to expect from the competitive tryouts that will be coming up. The academy will last for eight weeks, one session per week for an hour. Possible training times will be either 4-5pm, 5-6pm or 6-7pm. Groups will be put together in order of registration. Please let us know if you for sure have a schedule conflict. This training is available for both boys and girls and groups will be separated. Training will be run by Craig Deacon and Phil Cooper.
Spring Academy: Core Soccer Academy is offering a new re-energized youth program designed for 5-9 year olds. This camp offers a fun, technical and tactical learning environment. The groups are small so that each player gets the attention needed from the coach to really develop their technical and tactical skills. The goal of the Core youth program is to offer a high level of professional training, that includes detailed drills and a positive training environment. The biggest difference between the camps is that the youth academy is to help develop young players into better players and help them to learn at the right speed and to have as much fun playing the game, this will help build optimal training performance. It is designed to take each player to the next level.
Elite Camp: Core Soccer Academy is offering a new energetic Elite program that is designed for select competitive players aged 11 -16 years. The biggest difference between about Elite and regular core program is that the Elite program is specifically designed to maximize the advanced players to there highest potential.
2009/10 Winter Programs
Core Soccer Winter Speed and Agility: If you have a child that is mad for soccer or someone that is thinking about starting then this is the camp for you. Core Soccer offers a detailed winter program that can cater to the beginner or expert soccer player. This camp is split up into different age groups as well as different skill levels. The camp will be running for six weeks. The camp will run two weeks before the holidays and then run for four weeks after. The twice a week participants will get twelve sessions and the once a week participants will receive six sessions. Core Soccer Academy has a detailed curriculum for all levels of players. We have the coaches that will make soccer fun as well as help your child learn about the gamei n a variety of ways. Core Academy has a variety of coaches with a wealth of knowledge about soccer. Core Soccer high-school pre-season winter camp:
Core Soccer is introducing a four week tune up camp for all high-school age players. The camp will run twice a week and will get players ready for either their high-school soccer or club program that will start shortly after. The details of the camp are as follows: January 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th February 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th 4-5pm. The cost for the camp is $155 for the four weeks. Fall Shooting Camp: Core Soccer is excited to be offering a well needed camp that will focus on a players technical and mechanical conceptsof shooting. Correct technique and power when shooting is very important and can be the difference for the player and a teams success. This fall we will be offering a detailed explosive shooting camp that will cover many areas that will help a player to be more consistent, confident and successful in front of the goal. Players will develop a better feel and understanding of placement, angles and shot selection depending on what shooting opportunity arises. We will also cover skill in front of goal to beat defenders and 1v1 with the keepers and accuracy with free kicks. Camp dates: Sunday September 13th - November 1st.

Spring 2009
Spring Technical Skills & Shooting Academy: This camp focuses on a players technical and mechanical concepts of shooting. Correct technique and power when shooting is very important and can be the difference for the player and a teams success. From March 29 - May 17th we’ll be offering a detailed explosive shooting camp that will cover many areas that will help a player to be more consistent, confident and successful in front of the goal.

This academy will work on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and receiving, turns, skill moves and shooting; at an intense level to get the best out of each player. This academy will be eligible for U5/U6, U7/U8 & U9 players with a maximum of 10 players per group. The academy will last for eight weeks beginning March 27th - May 15th.
U10 Spring Academy: This is a Spring Academy that is designed to tune and develop the player’s ability to progress to the next level of play. This academy will work on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and receiving, turns, skill moves and shooting; at an intense level to get the best out of each player. As the camp progresses it will also allow the players to play small sided games and start to learn what to expect from the competitive tryouts that will be coming up. The academy will last for eight weeks, March 23rd - May 11th, 2009 one session per week for an hour. Possible training times will be either 4-5pm, 5-6pm or 6-7pm. Goalkeeper Preseason Spring 09 :COLORADO RAPIDS GOALKEEPER and CORE GOALKEEPER ACADEMY DIRECTOR & HEAD COACH, CHRIS SHARPE is putting on a 2 week PRESEASON SMALL GROUP SESSION
With Spring Club and High School season right around the corner, Chris is offering 2 weeks of training prior to the season starting in March. Small Group Sessions will consist of 1 session a week and YOU get to choose when you want to train, to fit in with you already existing schedules.
Core Goalkeeper Academies Assistant Director of Coaching; Phillip Jackson will also be coaching.

Goalkeeper Spring Academy 09: COLORADO RAPIDS GOALKEEPER and CORE GOALKEEPER ACADEMY DIRECTOR & HEAD COACH, CHRIS SHARPE is running an 8 Week Spring Goalkeeper Academy. With the Spring Season beginning in March, Chris wants all his young goalkeepers getting the best possible training through-out there Club and High School seasons.
The 8 Week program will consist of 1 session a week and the best part is that YOU get to choose when you want to train, to fit in with you already existing schedules.
Along with Chris, Core Goalkeeper Academies Assistant Director of Coaching; Phillip Jackson will also be coaching. All groups will be a MAXIMUM of 8 Goalkeepers, to 2 Coaches.
2008 Programs
Winter Speed & Agility Program It’s getting cold outside and the goose is getting fat. Dec 1 - Feb 12. We have a new winter speed and agility program that will keep your legs from turning cold-turkey - and it’s indoors at the FCISC - Fort Collins Indoor Soccer Club (OD’s) so you’ll stay warm as you train. This program was sold out last year - with a large waiting list, so register today and make sure you stay fresh for the Spring 2009 season!

From September 7 - October 26 we’ll be offering a detailed explosive shooting camp that will cover many areas that will help a player to be more consistent, confident and successful in front of the goal.
Core Summer Goalkeeping Program With Chris Sharpe - June Program (PDF) July Program (PDF)
The GK Academy will begin 2nd week in June and there will be a couple of different programs running throughout the Summer Break for goalkeepers of all ages, levels and programs specifically designed for the Individual Goalkeeper to choose what he or she feels they need to work on.
Summer Shooting Camp. This will run for 6 weeks beginning July 11th – August 15th on Friday mornings. The Shooting Camp will focus on a players technical and mechanical concepts of shooting. Correct technique and power when shooting is important and can be the difference for the player and a teams success!
Small Group Training for those that would like to participate in some ongoing, small group sessions. ou can either register individually for this or come with a group already formed. We will either design the training ourselves or work with a topic that you would like covered.
Spring 5 Day PreTryout Camp:May 19-23 2008 (PDF)
Core Soccer is offering a five day pre-tryout camp. This camp will touch up your child’s technical skills as well as go over some of the small sided games that will be covered in a tryout process.
Spring Summer Program April 4-May 2008 (PDF)
This academy will work on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and receiving, turns, and skill moves; at an intense level to get the best out of each player. The tactical areas that will be covered in this academy are 1 vs.1 attacking, attacking with numbers, overlap runs, defending with the proper techniques in tackling, and covering the fundamentals of shooting and shot selection.
