August 11, 2009
Core Soccer Academy is offering a new re-energized youth program designed for 5-10 year olds. This camp offers a fun, technical and tactical learning environment. The groups are small so that each player gets the attention needed from the coach to really develop their technical and tactical skills. The goal of the Core youth program is to offer a high level of professional training, that includes detailed drills and a positive training environment . The biggest difference between the camps is that the youth academy is to help develop young players into better players and help them to learn at the right speed and to have as much fun playing the game, this will help build optimal training performance. Core 3v3 summer 09
May 17, 2009
“First I would like to say how excited I am with running this program again this year. This program is always a lot of fun for the coaches. We pick up teams typically with little to no experience in the 3v3 game and we are able to help transform their game with the Core system. I have personally witnessed an unbelievable growth in the game and level of play. I designed this program six years ago so that I could set up my training into small group teams. The program was never about winning tournaments or league play and now the program has grown beyond my expectations. We have been apart of so much success that the Core name is not only recognized locally but regionally and nationally. Just last year we had six teams that won at regionals, plus numerous second and third placed teams”
“I am very excited about the changes for the 2009 3v3 season. We will be having our very talented group of coaches at league play and tournaments for a support system for the teams. This will help build the family feeling and help promote the Core values”

Winter Fun and New Coaches
December 10, 2008
Our Winter Speed and Agility Camp has filled up nicely and we are soooo excited about the camp this year. With so much passion, encouragement and new, talented coaches, the players are sure to not only improve but develop tremendously, get fit and be stronger for the spring season. We know they’re going to have loads of fun. Phil and I have been excited to be able to revamp the program and know with the addition of qualified and experienced coaches we are sure this will be one of the finest ever camps!
In the past it has been difficult to prepare a comprehensive program that can truly bring the different dynamic characteristics of soccer to the players. I believe we have what it takes to genuinely provide the functional training opportunities while still focusing on our skill and technical principle.
I have been so proud of the developments and achievements of Core trained players over the last season (yes I know I own and run this organization!), yet even so; it is full of quality, experience and fun. That’s what I wanted as a young player and I am honored to offer that to the community I live in, and most of all the players. This Camp will be awesome. We have developed a fantastic Shooting and Finishing program this summer and fall with coach Daniel Clitnovici.
Daniel’s experience as a playmaking, attack minded midfielder and forward has allowed the Core players to be exposed to a whole new range of attacking options and skills, while also offering repetition and progression - which is crucial to any players development. Mark Clitnovici has also added a wealth of Club and Collegiate coaching experiences to the Core academy, while offering a very professional and positive approach to his coaching. While Josh has worked for me previously and is back with much more experience and passion after a short stint in Texas.
That’s just a small example of what we have been able to improve at Core… now we will implement it and a whole lot more this winter… see you on the field!!!!
